Getting help with a return
Contact info@toyotalifts.com before arranging a return. Include the order number, equipment model, serial number if available, delivery date, and reason for the request. Return arrangements depend on the product, its condition, the order terms, and applicable law. Keep your order confirmation and related correspondence available throughout the process.
Return eligibility and applicable period
Review the return terms supplied for the product and order, including the applicable request period and when that period begins. Ask for clarification before purchasing if you need a particular return option. Do not assume that a promotion changes the return terms or that the same conditions apply to every piece of equipment.
Product condition and included items
Describe the equipment’s current condition, whether it has been used or installed, and whether all accessories, documentation, keys, chargers, or other supplied items are available. Retain the original packaging where practical. The return instructions should identify the condition and items required for the particular return; describe any missing or damaged component before shipment.
Special configurations and restricted items
Customized configurations, special orders, consumables, batteries, used equipment, and other product categories may require different handling or eligibility terms. Refer to the terms for the specific order rather than treating this list as an automatic exclusion. Any applicable restriction or charge should be made clear before purchase and remain subject to mandatory legal rights.
Return authorization and destination
Wait for the confirmed return process and shipping destination before dispatching equipment. A corporate headquarters, manufacturer address, or original dispatch point is not automatically the correct returns location. Include the reference information requested in the return instructions so the equipment can be identified when received.
Preparing and transporting equipment
Follow the agreed packaging, securing, and collection instructions. Heavy machinery and batteries can require specialist handling and carrier acceptance. Clarify who books the collection, who pays for freight, and what transport protection applies. Keep the collection receipt and tracking record. Do not arrange a transport method that conflicts with the equipment’s handling requirements.
Charges and original shipping costs
Any return-freight responsibility, collection cost, inspection fee, restocking charge, or treatment of the original delivery charge must come from the applicable order terms and the circumstances of the request. Ask for the proposed amount and basis of a charge before confirming a voluntary return. No undisclosed percentage or fixed fee is established by this page.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect equipment
If the equipment appears damaged, defective, or different from the order, explain the issue and provide supporting photographs or records. Do not continue operating equipment where the reported issue could make use unsafe. The applicable remedy can differ from a voluntary change-of-mind return and must take account of the order terms, any relevant warranty, and mandatory law.
Assessment, refunds, and exchanges
The return correspondence should explain any inspection or verification needed, the proposed remedy, and the refund or replacement process. Where a refund is approved, confirm the amount, method, and expected initiation date. Payment-provider processing can be separate from the seller’s action. An exchange or replacement should identify the exact equipment and any agreed price or freight difference.
Cancellations and non-excludable rights
Raise a cancellation request promptly and include the order reference. Dispatch status, special-order work, and the applicable terms can affect the available options. This page does not remove any cancellation, repair, replacement, refund, or other right that cannot legally be excluded. Email info@toyotalifts.com for help with your specific order.
